Robin

Robins "old time" style of playing makes him a perfect addition to the
SLUG NICKEL band. He is also a veteran of the COBBLE MOUNTAIN BOYS and the ZYDECO HOGS. He
is well known for his attempts to communicate with both red and black ants using only his
fiddle. When hes not fiddling, Robin enjoys forklift racing and riding his

Jeremiah
"Jerry" Crowley
Gibson Electric
Guitar, Vocals
Jerrys ability at playing guitar
is matched only by his comic timing and wit. This means that he can play the heck out of
just about any tune while busting your stones at the same time! He earned a masters
degree in classical guitar from the HARTT SHOOL OF MUSIC and has played with the NORTHERN
GRASS BAND as well as many stage performances. |

George
Spurlock
Bass Guitar, Vocals
George has worked with Toad on and off
now for many years in such bands as RHYTHM STEW and FAT FRIDAY. He is also a founding
member of Willimantics favorite anonymous group, SOMEBODY and the WHATCHMACALLITS.
His Motown, funk and blues influences add a funky twist to the country bluegrass sound of
SLUG NICKEL. George also enjoys weed whacking his lawn in a RAMBO costume. |

Michael
Ryan
Drums, Bodhran,
Percussion, Vocals
Mikes influences are unclear but
I can tell you he has lots of them. He plays all styles really well. He is alumnus of the
UNITED STATES ARMY BAND, The BOOGEYMEN, The REILLY CLAN, FREE FOURMULA and a whole lot of
groups down in Tennessee.
He frequently can be seen cruising in one of his antique Volkswagens or raising sea
monkeys in his daughters kiddie pool. |
